Father's play an important role in raising us.
We wanted to take some time to celebrate and appreciate some of our dad's here at Little Blessings.
Our dad's came to nursery to play some games with us, and to surprise them we made them bath bombs to use to relax when we get home. Check out some of the pictures below.
‘I can fix the puzzle!’
‘you mix it like this dad’
‘My dad drew a picture of me’
‘look what we made’
‘let me mix it’
Our dad’s helping us make vanilla & orange bath bombs for them
The importance of fathers
Fathers are a key part in children's emotional well-being. Even in today's day and age, children still look to their fathers to lay down the rules and enforce them. Fathers also provide a feeling of security, both physical and emotional. Children want to make their fathers proud, and an involved father promotes inner growth and strength.
Fathers are important to daughters, as they learn what a positive relationship with a man is like. They are also important to sons, as without them sons will generally look for other males to set rules for them.
Studies have shown that when fathers are affectionate and supportive, it greatly improves a child’s cognitive and social development.
That's why it's important to show appreciation to father's that play an active role in their children's lives. So why not tell your male role model you appreciate them today.
