Here at Little Blessings we plan each day to help grow and nurture our children. Everything that we do, from the meals that we provide to the activities that we set out, is created to increase your child's confidence, imagination and knowledge.
Although each day is different we do follow a similar structure shown below.
A Typical Day for your Child
6:00am Opening Time
Time to wake up and get ready for the busy day before us. Arrive here as early as 6:00am, earlier than any other nursery
8:30-10:00 Free Play
Here your child gets to express themselves and play with other children at their own speed and pace. They will partake in a range of activities of their choosing. They will also learn new activities from other children. Your child will have free play on multiple occasions throughout the day.
10:30-11:00 Structured Learning
Here the child's key worker (main carer) will plan an activity around the child's interest to help develop the different areas of learning. Click here to find out more about what they learn. Structured learning also takes place in the afternoon, right after tea time.
12:00-12:30 Lunch time
2:30-3:00 Circle Time
Time to sing or read a story. All the children sit in a circle in our book area and enjoy one of these activities. Circle time happens twice in the day, once in the morning and once in the afternoon.
